2018 Christmas EP

This EP was an end-of-year release of some EDM and lo-fi tracks I made throughout 2018. 'Mist' was my take on the future bass genre, with touches of glitch and lo-fi sounds. 'Departures' I produced in a single day when I was feeling quite inspired by C418's house tracks (especially from his album 148 - possibly even a bit from his fantastic Excursions album). 'S U N D A Y _ B E A C H' was just a shameless, chill jazzy lo-fi beat that gave me an excuse to play with wonky beats. 'Transform' (I think?) took inspiration from some retro-sounding synth disco tracks, like Lindstrøm's 'Closing Shot' - although I went for a slightly darker vibe, and really leant into literal low-fidelity effects processing (lots of bitcrushing!) for an almost corny amount of retro aesthetics.
