'Soundscaper' is a game/instrument/art-installation hybrid program, with a focus on chaotic and organic sound generation (approximating a complex generative musical system), and immersive, worldly visual contexts to provide strong audio-visual associations - an interactive sound world.
This program was coded in p5.js as my major project for the CMPO385 audio-visual coding course at the New Zealand School of Music in 2021. I presented it as a proof-of-concept for my idea to develop an interactive, almost endlessly iterative sound world experience (including many variations of biomes, conditional/generative audio-visual events and interactive object properties).
