'Monolith' and 'Destination' are two major electronic/ambient works I created in 2019.

'Monolith' takes influence from 猫 シ Corp.'s & t e l e p a t h ' s ambient/futuristic album 'Building a Better World' and artists like C418. The track expresses a bright retro-futuristic vision, marvelling in the technological wonders of today and the future. Shifting between delicate, ethereal ambient drones and massive, dynamic synth-symphonies, this piece is an epic journey - one that I was quite proud of when I first released it.

'Destination' is a minimalist-structured work, gradually building an ambient naturalistic soundscape into a pulsing electro-acoustic groove - a deep, subtle, yet energetic journey that accelerates towards the musical climax. I created this track as the final project for the first-year music production course during my undergraduate study at the New Zealand School of Music.
